This lesson goes over basic addition up to a sum of 10. Have your child look over the examples given. Practice problems will be given.

Tip: Tell your child to think about addition like receiving a gift of something they already have. For example, if your child has one apple and they receive two apples, they now have three apples. (Refer to the Addition Activity on the next page for more information.)
